Darin Sharkey is Senior Vice President of Engineering at Highline Hospitality Partners and is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of all capital projects within Highline’s existing hospitality portfolio. In his previous role at Premier Project Management, Darin led a team of 10 Vice Presidents and Directors overseeing the maintenance and asset management of 135 full-service and select-service hotels across the U.S. and Caribbean. He successfully directed capital expenditure projects worth over $40 million and also managed unbudgeted repairs. Darin has extensive experience in managing complex systems including HVAC, lighting, power distribution, and building infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence and long-term sustainability for hospitality properties. Before transitioning to the hospitality industry, Darin served in senior roles at Chrysler, LLC, where he oversaw building operations for a 5.5 million-square-foot facility. Darin's leadership in energy management, including the optimization of HVAC and building automation systems, resulted in significant resource savings and improved operational performance. Darin holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Master of Science, Engineering/Industrial Management from Oakland University.
